The Dunes Course has been buzzing with activity during our recent closure. Our maintenance team has been working diligently to complete essential agronomy practices designed to ensure the course remains in peak condition for the coming months.

Here is a look at what we have accomplished:

Turf Health & Revitalization

To maintain the high standards of our playing surfaces, we have successfully completed:

Full-Course Aerification: This critical process relieves soil compaction and allows oxygen, water, and nutrients to reach the root zone more effectively.
Complete Verticutting: By thinning out the thatch layer across the entire course, we are promoting upright growth and smoother, faster ball roll.
Precision Topdressing: Our greens, tees, and approaches have received a fresh application of sand to smooth the surfaces and encourage firm, consistent playability.

Water Management & Efficiency

In addition to the visible turf work, our team is currently performing comprehensive irrigation audits. These evaluations allow us to fine-tune our water distribution, ensuring every drop is used efficiently and that the turf receives exactly what it needs to thrive in our unique climate.
